LEGAL UPDATE: Many plaintiffs in civil lawsuits in the state of New York are waiting to settle their cases due to delays related to the pandemic. One plaintiff who was severely injured when he was struck by a Frito-Lay truck says he hoped to receive a settlement that would help him pay for medical bills. His lawsuit filed in September 2019 is still pending and he has not been offered a settlement by Frito-Lay.
