Justin Sterling, Esq. is the founder and principal attorney of The Sterling Firm, A Professional Law Corporation with its main headquarters located in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Sterling is licensed by the California State Bar and has held licenses at various times to practice before the United States District Courts for the Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California. Mr. Sterling is also licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is committed to representing clients and serving the legal community with the utmost professionalism and compassion.

PASSION, PURPOSE, & LEGACY

Mr. Justin Sterling obtained his undergraduate degree from West Chester University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Sterling then attended law school at the University of West Los Angeles School of Law, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude. After obtaining his Juris Doctor degree, Mr. Sterling continued in academia and served as a law professor at various law schools. Mr. Sterling has served on the Los Angeles County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service Advisory Committee from 2019 to present. Mr. Sterling has also served as a Volunteer Attorney for the Mesereau Free Legal Clinic, located in the heart of South Central Los Angeles. Mr. Sterling also served on the Board of Directors for the non-profit free legal clinic from 2015 to 2017. The Mesereau Free Legal Clinic ensures the residents of Los Angeles County are afforded professional quality legal services regardless of income, circumstances, or station in life. Mr. Sterling has also been honored by the City of Los Angeles for his work with the Los Angeles City Commission on the Status of Women focusing on re-entry services for ex-offenders. In addition, Mr. Sterling served as a Volunteer Attorney at the Los Angeles Law Library for the Lawyers in the Law Library program. Mr. Sterling has presented at various speaking engagements and he has been featured in publications.

Mr. Sterling is proud to have been recognized by the City of Los Angeles for his work with the Los Angeles City Commission on the Status of Women (formerly LACCSW – program services offered through the Los Angeles City Hall). Mr. Sterling assisted with the LACCSW Re-Entry Project. Mr. Sterling has been dedicated to helping others be productive members of society through re-integration policies and services. Mr. Sterling has assisted formerly incarcerated mothers re-unite with their families and prevent recidivism in the community by engaging in programs and discussions with community leaders in the inner-city communities of the City of Los Angeles.

Justin Sterling, Esq. is also a member in good standing of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s SmartLaw Lawyer Referral Service. SmartLaw is a lawyer referral program operated through LACBA that helps connect individuals with attorneys based on their legal needs. Through his participation in SmartLaw, Mr. Sterling supports the program’s mission of improving access to quality legal services for members of the community.
