⚠️Class Action Settlement: James Franco to Pay $2.2M in Acting School Sexual Misconduct Case Actor James Franco will pay $2.2 million to settle a class action sexual misconduct case that alleged he engaged in “sexually-charged behavior towards female students” at his acting school. The lawsuit was filed by two women who attended the actor’s now-defunct Studio 4 acting school. The women filed suit in Los Angeles in October 2019 alleging they were sexually objectified and intimidated by Franco while attending the school.
